Jerry Garcia's favorite guitarist Steve Kimock and The String Cheese Incident's Michael Kang joined Benefit Arts on tour with the Chris Berry Trio featuring members of the 2009 Grammy Nominated Brazilian Girls. The string of East and West Coast shows helped to raise awareness about global poverty.

THE BENEFIT ARTS GALLERY!

Benefit Arts is currently fundraising to secure a gallery space of our own.  The non-profit Benefit Arts Gallery will feature up and coming artists of all mediums.  A portion of proceeds from art sold will fund our grants program, supporting innovative grassroots organizations working both locally and around the world.

You can support this endeavor by giving to our Gallery Fund.

WAVY GRAVY & YOUSSOUPHA SIDIBE SUPPORT BENEFIT ARTS!

Audiences almost fell out of their seats laughing as the infamous Wavy Gravy opened up this memorable event at Berkeley California's intimate Freight and Salvage.  Grammy nominated Youssoupha Sidibe was the main act who left the crowd asking for more.  This spectacular evening raised enough funds to restore sight to 10 people living with preventable blindness in the developing world.  It was truly a night to remember.  We thank Wavy Gravy and Youssoupha for generously donating their time to join Benefit Arts in bringing health care to remote communities like Tibet and Nepal!
